“To fully appreciate Moab, RENT A JEEP!”
?Reviewed September 25, 2011
We were in Moab for four days, 3 of which were accompanied by a jeep from Canyonlands Jeep Adventures. The title of this review is the best advice I can give, and I will say again you must rent a jeep to fully appreciate Moab.

Steve, one of the co-owners of the enterprise, was very helpful and provided us with useful advice about local trails and the offroading experience. Another nice perk about renting from this particular company is that they provide you with trail maps, a cooler, and all the water and ice you need! This comes in very handy in Moabs arid desert environment.

Travelers should note that there is a 150 mile per day limit, however, we found that this was more than enough mileage to accommodate our journey through canyon country.

The jeep was in fine running condition and gave us no trouble during our trip. The jeeps were new models, not run down rent a wrecks as one may expect from a
Local car rental company. Overall, our experience here was fantastic because of the jeep, and we will return again when we travel through Moab in the future

We spent a couple days in the Moab outback (July 2011) It was a very enjoyable Trek in your new jeeps! Couldn't have done it without Canyonlands Jeep Advertures. Thanks!!!!!!!
SATISFACTION: Canyonlands Jeep Adventures met and exceeded our expectation.
Hope to see you next summer.

Ray and Janet

What an experience!! We had so much fun! Your staff was friendly and helpful and gave us great advice for which trails to take to meet our needs. It was nice to have the book of maps describing in detail how to find the trail and stay on the trail. The trails are labeled well and it was nice to view Canyonlands National Park, Dead Horse Point State Park and the back country surrounding Moab. It was also fun to drive a brand new 4 door Jeep and help put the first 500 miles on it. We would definitely do it again ;) Since we are from out of state, it was nice to research your company online and find that the advertising was true, correct and what we expected it to be when we walked in the doors.

Thanks again and keep up the great work!

Comments: We rented a Jeep for one of our two days in Moab last (Oct. 17, 18) weekend. We entered Canyonlands via the Gemini Bridges trail and left on the Schaefer trail. The ride was thrilling and the scenery was absolutely spectacular. The Rubicon jeep is a very capable vehicle with comfortable front seats.

Dear Jason,

We enjoyed the jeep even though there was a five inch downpour the day of rental and we got a little wet. We would highly recommend your business with our experience. This is the only picture we took of the jeep at the Arches. We also want to thank you for the referral of the Mexican Restaurant Miguels Baja. We ate there two days in a row, great food, fish tacos the second day were great! We also enjoyed the coffee shop across the street and to the corner from Miguels Baja, which we went three times. Were back in Michigan now, and my wife just stated she wished were in Moab. I stated that I had just been thinking the same thing. Weather getting colder here now, where it was beautiful there, even with the storm. Wishing you the best.

Hi! We just wanted to tell what a great time we had in Moab with the Jeep. Everyone at Canyonlands Jeep was very informative and made the process of renting very easy.

The absolute best time of our vacation was the day we rented the Jeep. It was especially fun to watch my boyfriend freaking out over the narrow road we were driving down...he's afraid of heights! You can't get that view in Canyonlands National Park without a 4 wheel drive Jeep!

Thank You!

We look forward to visiting again soon and of course renting a jeep from y'all....we will definitely need it more than one day next time!

Hello there...
My wife and I just returned to Seattle from a wonderful vacation that culminated in a stay in Moab. There are three things we must do in Moab whenever we come through. Mexican at Miguel's, Green Chili Breakfast Burritos at the Moab Diner and rent a Jeep from you folks. This last trip was our third occasion to rent from you and the experience couldn't have been better. I really like how you keep our information in your system. It makes the rental process quick and easy. On this last trip we were on a short time frame and my wife had never been in the back country. We spent a wonderful day rolling up the Potash road and climbing the Shafer switchbacks. After exploring Canyonlands Nat'l Park we took the "short cut" down Long's Canyon. Beautiful all around. Attached is a photo taken from Thelma and Louise point looking up at Deadhorse State Park. While I prefer to drive my own Jeep, time and circumstances don't always allow me to drive it down. Luckily with your vehicles, I don't have to miss out on any of the fun.

Until next time. Keep the rubber side down.

Subject: To Whom It May Concern:

Canyonlands Jeep Rental has great service. Your employees are always ready to help. Canyonlands Rental also has great quality; everything is clean. You provide my family with a map with many varieties of trails. Your service was greatly appreciated by our family and many others. The jeep was fun to ride in and it handled well on the rocks. Keep up the good work!

First, Canyonlands Rental had great service. Your employees helped with showing us around on the maps and around in the jeeps. Canyonlands showed our family what not to go on so, we didn't get hurt or stuck. Your employees are always moving to get things done and ready for the next person. Like cleaning the inside of the jeep so it is clean for the next person. Someone was always there to help us with anything we needed. Also, if we needed help with anything on the jeep, someone was there. Your store is responsible and a mature company. Keep up the great service!

Second, Canyonlands Jeep Rental had great quality in their rental service. The jeep ways clean and ready to go. When got there we just signed up and were on our way. The jeep that we rented was in great condition and there were not many dents in the jeep. The tires that were on the jeep were also in great condition, there were no cuts and they are not dried out at all. This means that the tires handled great and we did not have to worry about them slipping. Keep up the great quality in your jeeps Canyonlands!

Third, Canyonlands maps were the best that we could ever get. In the maps there were trails marked hard easy, medium, and difficult. Also, Canyonlands had the information about the trail right there too. The information told us what we would see and how difficult it was to travel on. Their maps helped us around a lot around the national parks. Like where to go to get to the beginning of the trails. The information helped a lot!

Canyonlands Jeep Rental is the best around. I would tell everyone to go there to rent jeeps. The quality of the jeeps is great. The service is incredible and their maps have great information. I will always rent from your store whenever I go off-roading in Moab. Keep up the great service and quality of the jeeps. I will tell everyone about you. Thanks for everything!!!

Sincerely.

Alex Smee

Just wanted to thank you for the great service when we rented from you over Christmas break. It was such a fun family vacation. The kids said that it was more fun than the rides at Disneyland! My husband (who wasn't sure he really wanted to go at first) is asking when we are going to go back. Let us know when you get the Rubicons in so we can start planning another trip!

Kelley & team,

Thank you for the welcome-home post-card.

We have nothing but high praise for Canyonlands. I particularly appreciated that you thoroughly inspected the Jeep before we drove off, and you were careful to mark down all the dings and scratches. (It’s a perennial fight with Hertz, etc, to even come out from the office to look at the car, let alone mark things down properly.)

One thing I should do differently next time, I forgot to ask how to manage the 2H, 4H-4L transfer case; I remember from my youth to stop and shift, but was a bit worried about the automatic.

The Jeep performed excellently.

The booking procedures for Canyonlands were great—and you’re beating the competition (Farabee, actually). They didn’t reply to an e-mail inquiry, and when I phoned, said they were “busy” and they’d call me back. They didn’t, so next day I booked with you.

Of course, I’m recommending Kelley & Canyonlands to all my friends.

With thanks, Dave R. from Oakland, CA

Subject: Our recent trip

Hello. We just received your very nice post card in the mail today. We have only been home here in Bend Oregon a few days after having a BLAST in Moab. We have been riding our Harley to Moab for the last 8 years and have never stayed more than one night. We decided this time, to see Moab from one of your Jeeps. My wife Sharon and I really enjoyed the three days we rented your Jeep. We explored many of the trails you recommended in your folder, and our favorite was Fins and things. We did it 3 times. We have never done any real off-roading, but I used to do a lot of off road motorcycling when I was younger.

We will certainly be back next year and will rent from your company again. We loved the nearly new Rubicon, and now my wife has informed me that we need to buy one.

You guys run a great operation and the post card was a very nice customer service touch. My wife and I have an extensive background in customer service, me in the software world and my wife in high tech as well as banking. We appreciate good service! Attached is a picture from Fins and Things. You can use this email and picture any way you choose.

Thanks again for a great time!
